| Delphi was awarded
a contract to develop the real-time software architecture for the
Sonar Signal Processor (SSP) portion of the Hughes Common Torpedo
Processor (CTP). The SSP is comprised of anywhere from 3 to 6 Octal
C40 Boards for a total of 24 to 48 DSPs per system.
Delphi was responsible
for the selection of TMS320C40 multiprocessing
software tools and real time operating system for the Octal
C40 Board. This included participating in the development of
software and interface requirement specifications as well as the
complete
design and development of an Application Programming Interface
(API) to support multi-processor communications, system I/O, hardware
interfaces,
and data conversion utility libraries. In addition, Delphi developed
all Built In Test (BIT) and Fault Detection and Isolation (FDFI)
routines to support system test and diagnostics. |
