| Delphi's C6X-PMC is a single
or dual 'C6x processor PMC module with a reconfigurable external
interface.
The programmable nature of the I/O interface and DSP resources provide
a powerful and highly flexible solution for front-end sensor processing
or data acquisition applications.
The processing power of the integrated 'C6201 (fixed point) or
'C6701 (floating point) DSPs allow real-time processing of high
bandwidth data streams thereby reducing the processing load placed
on the host CPU.
The FPDP compatible Reconfigurable External Interface is designed
for high-speed digital data acquisition or generation. It can be
used to rapidly transfer raw sensor data between A/D or D/A converters
and processors or memory/storage systems up to 100 MBytes/Sec.
Implementation with PMC gives maximum flexibility for system integration,
and packing capacity conserves PCI bandwidth.
